6-pack: beer, abs, formula?!
The hospital and pediatrician (Baby Caleb had his first check-up yesterday - gained 1. 4 oz already!) loaded us up with ready-to-go 2 oz. nursing bottles so we aren't feeling the sticker shock of formula yet. Caleb's Uncle George shared stories about "double-laning" it at Target for Jon and Jess when formula was on special - Auntie Kara in one lane with her 10 cans and he in another with his. He said I should work on my glare and get my defensive shopping-cart moves ready. New world!

WoW! What a cutie. Can't wait to meet the little guy. He'll be drinking the beer 6 packs before you know it.
In about 4 months you'll buy your first can of generic formula and start "cutting" it...I can attest to the fact that it won't hurt him a bit. Also, look for sales at BB's R Us and of course, buying drums of it at your local discount wharehouse. Disp. dipes we buy from BB's R Us (every 10th box of pampers free and use coupons) but you can get a good deal (1st time only) at diapers.com. If I can do it on grad school stipend budget, you can too!
